Trail Conditions History for Laurel Mountain

1 1/2" overnigh, ttrails skiable but need ski off trail where snow is washed out. Interstate the best trail as the base held. Thanks for all the support in purchasing the new Polaris snowmobile .

Another bluebird day in store for us today! Trails not much worse for the wear after a busy Saturday. Loop interstate, Lippos loop and trail to grooming shed freshly groomed and in excellent condition.

Beautiful morning at Laurel this morning interstate is doubled tracked freshly groomed along with trail to the grooming shed. Lippos loop groomed as well, filled in most thin spots so should be excellent. Guessing 6” fresh snow since last weekend so backcountry skiing is excellent too. Ski patrol is having a yard sale at hut so check it out.

It's 13° with light snow. Interstate is groomed and very good skiing. Lippos Loop groomed, also, but still thin. Other trails not groomed, but skiable. Enjoy!!

Currently 14° and sunny. Trails groomed: Interstate and Lippos. Skiing on interstate is good. Lippos is a bit thin but doable. The wind has stopped, so it's pleasant out there.

Good Backcountry skiing today. 19° and sunny. The wind subsided! Best skiing is on Interstate. Upper trails are very wet; navigable but you will pick up moisture, so bring a scraper!! If the trails were filled in, we'd be grooming today. Until we get the wet spots frozen over, and more snow, we really can't groom. But come ski anyway.

Cabin fever? Yep, so went to ski. Doable, but thin. An inch, or less, of fluffy snow on top of an ice base. Some rocks and wet spots, but navigable. Interstate was the best. Bring rock skis. On a scale of 1-10, it was a 1.

Silver loop and interstate very cood condition with tra k. Lippo loop ok too ski with 1/ 1/4" snow on good base. There're some washout n need ski on side, cannot regroom because ofwashouts.

Got the groomer out at this time interstate to the snowmobile shed, ice crust broken up, and set for skating some older set tracks still looking good on side of trail. And good snow cover even with recent rains. Other trails maybe groomed Bob is attempting. Some washouts etc but snow cover in woods still holding well. It’s cold out there dress warm!

Dusting overnight. Packed powder. Tracked center interstate,and lodge trail. Rest trails track ok.Excellent conditions.

Excellent conditions, All trails groomed and tracked. Silvermine is groomed for classic and skate for this weekend.

Excellent skiing, again! Sunny with no wind. All trails are groomed, but will probably freshen up the trails on Friday.

Upper trails groomed, will finish other trails in early afternoon. Sunny, winds clam. Excellent conditions.

Tracked most of the upper trails and trail too the ski Lodge, other trails groomed Friday. Excellent conditions. Snowing now expect several inches.

2" overnight, all trails tracked yesterday,retracked upper trails today. Excellent conditions, about 14" in woods.

3" snow overnight, All trails retracked, excellent conditions.

Great conditions today. All trails groomed with set tracks. Road coming up mountain was good.

8" snow, grooming interstate , lower loop, silvermine. Need more snow for grooming other trails. Good skiing on most trails

Not skiable, yet. Maybe the weekend!?? The road was all ice and hardpack.

Skiing not doable..... Still too thin. Summit Road was horrible. Again, too thin! Great day to bike or hike in the woods. Warmup coming; oh surprise:(

Got the snowmobile back Friday night and took the roller out. Snow not quite deep enough to set tracks but close. Hoping packing will help keep snow a little longer. Some very nice skier set classic tracks tried to stay out of them as much as possible in flat areas. Only groomed loop trail/ interstate, bill alberts to alpine area, and trail to shed. Tried to get to silver mine but gate was locked imagine it’s really good as well. High of 32 Saturday and high of 40 Sunday so hopefully trails will remain decent until Sunday afternoon. It’s beautiful with snow on mtn. Laurel be sure to get out!!

About 6" snow on the ground. Trails are frozen and skiable. Not enough snow too groom. Snowmobile should be back later Saturday so we will be ready for next decent snow.

A dusting of snow last evening, about half an inch or less. Trails aren't skiable, but the ground is freezing up, so maybe we can ski Thursday if we get the predicted snow??! Summit Road not doable....all ice.

Not enough to ski today and can see low spots still wet. But did snow all day yesterday and couple of inches overnight. Looking like some cold temperatures coming end of next week!

Well pretty good day to get out there received 3-4 “ overnight and continued to snow till about 10am. It is turning to rain. Got the old machine out decided to go with roller it ran well then stalled and gave fits. Ended up abandoning grooming efforts. But got machine back to shed. Acting like an alternator issue, will see if we can fix. Can’t wait for the new snowmobile!! In the meantime at least a foot on the ground skiers blazed trail on lippos. Roads are decent but parking lots in park boundaries are unplowed and a very heavy wet snow bring a shovel and traction material. I would suggest parking at the lot by stone hut.

About 6" by late afternoon.. Loop,Interstate and Lippo was rolled today. More snow tonight but temps warming to 30's tomorrow with a light mix of showers snow predicted. With warmer temps and equipment problem unsure if can groom sat. Will update sat.
