Trail Conditions History for Laurel Ridge

5 January 2026

Open today at 9am! Temps will rise into low 40’s with sunshine making today our last day till the snow returns. We have good coverage on the red (except 4th hill, but bypass is good). Blue and most greens are good. Orange is 80% skiable. Caution-Yellows are thin but skiable(not groomed) with 2 trees down that will be removed this week.

Unfortunately the back side of the red with a few other places have more damage than expected. We will be closed today to work on the trails in hopes of making passable conditions for tomorrow.

Good morning from the trail. We received 3-4” over night and the base is setting up nicely on the red, blue and greens. All the trails are skiable. Skating has its limitations with the fallen debris. Open this Saturday and Sunday 9-5pm. Sadly this will be the last few days to ski before the forecasted rain and warmer temps roll in.

19 December 2025

Around 3pm the trails had soft surface, lots of debris and high winds. Andy slowly groomed parts of the front side, removed lots of debris and within 2 hrs his tracks were covered with snow! It’s still snowing in squalls and the winds are fierce. We will assess the trails early morning with an updated condition report. OPEN SATURDAY with most likely the front side only 9-5pm. (Orange trail will be open but last to be groomed depending on snow) CHECK OUR FACEBOOK PAGE FOR CONDITION REPORTS THROUGHOUT THE DAY

After a few days of tree removal and fine tuning Andy was able to make some great surface for skating and classic skiing on the red, blue, greens & most of orange. Yellows are clear and ready for the Alberta clipper. 7-10” forecasted overnight and fresh grooming early Sunday morning will make for a perfect powder day on the ridge! We will be open Sunday and Monday 9-5pm.
